Nokia has plans to launch their 8-inch tablet called Lumia 2020 in the first quarter of 2014. It is expected to support windows RT and help microsoft populate struggling tablet market segment. This tablet is expected to be an improvement of Nokia Lumia 2520 which due for launch this week, with mid-range target and high-end target.
It is approximated that Nokia Lumia 2020 will retail at $399 and features IPS screen which has a resolution of 1920×1080, 16 million colors, a pixel density of 218 and a luminance of 650 nits, by corning’s Gorilla Glass 2 protection. The screen is blackened Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core SoC clocked at 2.2GHz.

Its Snapdragon 800 processor features higher pixel density and run faster execution of app. Its support for many colors and its high resolution is expected to provide users with good gaming, chatting and video display experience.
The phone was expected to be a smartphone at first which supports 2GB RAM, 5-inch display, and supports upto 32GB internal storage memory, but according to these digital reports, it will be a tablet.
Nokia has also said that its previous makes such as LG Electronics and Sony mobile will probably continue to stay in the tablet market rivaling with HTC, motorola and Blackberry. Huawei and ZTE are expected to be the competitors; probably who will bring new tablets to the market to challenge this new make from Nokia.
