An earthquake struck early morning with the magnitude of 6.1 rector scale at 7:02 am in Iran in the province of Ilam.
From the information collected from sources no people were killed but there was massive damage of buildings and houses. There was more public damage and even injuries to 250 people. Many people came on the road because of the quake and they were supposed to be on the road.
Officials revealed that nearby 8 villages were affected by this quake causing extensive damages to buildings and houses.
Iran is situated near the seismic line which is very faulty area and such type of natural calamities occur very frequently.
Same incidence occurred last year with magnitude of 7.8 rector scale and it was took place in Pakistan which is neighbor to Iran.
